The optional visual arts course, offered from the 10th to 12th grade in high school at LFIV, combines artistic practices and the acquisition of an artistic culture. Through incentives related to contemporary creation, current issues, or aesthetic questions, the teacher guides the student toward personal practice and autonomy.
This option allows for the development of the student who is passionate about art, as well as the student who is curious to discover the world of art. The visual arts cover many fields that artists are constantly renewing, such as drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, architecture, digital creation, new attitudes of artists, new ways of producing images…
In the 12th grade, the last of high school, students are required to have a personal project with a theme of their choice. Here are the students’ files for the Baccalauréat 2020, congratulations to them for their work.
